Getting Started with EU Partnerships in Ireland

On Tuesday 20th of May, Ireland 2nd Launch event took place on Zoom, organised by Access Europe, The Wheel’s EU funding support service funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs.

This online information event focused on how to build a strong EU network, which is essential for unlocking funding opportunities, sharing expertise, and creating meaningful partnerships. Directed at people who were either new to EU partnerships or already had some experience, this session was made to equip them with the tools to find the right partners, build trust, and strengthen long-term cooperation.

Participants got to hear real-life experience from the baSE project coordinator at The Wheel, Perrine Cesbron. She presented the project, its outputs, goals, and activities, but she mostly focused on talking about the partnership itself, the challenges and opportunities it brings, and how this large consortium manages to deliver all the expected results while reaching target numbers.
