On October 11, 2024, AICCON organized the GDB OFF workshop as part of the 24th edition of Le Giornate di Bertinoro per l’Economia Civile. This interactive event brought together around 40-50 young students, researchers, and co-operators from the Italian Cooperative Alliance in Bertinoro to explore key themes in social economy.
The workshop focused on two main topics:
- SE and Sustainability – Participants examined how social economy practices intersect with sustainability, identifying ways to drive ecological impact.
- Civic Management – Emphasizing a fresh, civic-minded approach to economics, this segment inspired a critical understanding of civil economy within traditional training paths.
The event also introduced the European baSE project, highlighting its mission to develop skills training for social economy professionals in Italy.
Led by Professor Laura Colombo from the University of Exeter Business School, the GDB OFF workshop offered a rich opportunity for young professionals to exchange ideas, experiment, and bring academic knowledge into the practical realm of civil economy.
