As part of Work Package 5 of the baSE Project, a pilot training course titled “Promoting Social Economy through Leadership and Innovation” was successfully carried out in Slovenia by DOBA Business School. The course was co-developed and led by Ass. Prof. Dr. Karolina Babič, a senior expert in social and solidarity economy and an experienced advisor to cooperatives and social enterprises.
The 30-hour course combined a 16-hour MOOC with 14 hours of synchronous online activities, including webinars, teamwork sessions, and a concluding focus group. Participants explored alternative socio-economic models through self-paced learning, group assignments, peer-to-peer feedback, and interactive discussions.
This pilot contributed to offering valuable insights into how leadership and social innovation can support the development of the social economy across Europe.
