On 11 April 2025, the first face-to-face session of the MOOC “Supporting change management to achieve the triple transition – ecological, digital, and inclusive – within the social economy sector” was held in Belgium.
The session brought together 11 participants from different professional backgrounds, including experts, practitioners, trainers, and representatives from social economy enterprises, consulting agencies, and federations. These participants had previously completed the first two learning units online.
The MOOC consists of three teaching units:
-
UE1: Understanding the context and main drivers of change in the social economy
-
UE2: Adopting change management tools and methods
-
UE3: Applying sustainable change within your social economy enterprise
Participants found the course engaging and appreciated its hybrid format. The face-to-face part was particularly well received, thanks to interactive activities like role plays and a well-structured exercise book that helped bring theory into practice. While many valued the quality and depth of the MOOC, some felt it was a bit too theoretical and suggested adding more concrete examples. Technical issues with the platform were also mentioned.
To improve the next sessions, the team plans to provide printed materials, keep time for experience-sharing, and refine the platform’s usability. Overall, the diverse participant profiles led to rich discussions and meaningful exchanges, contributing to an evolving and responsive learning experience.
A warm thank you to ConcertES and ULiège for their collaboration and commitment in making this first piloting session a success. Check more here: https://learn.socialeconomyskills.eu/
